Just a reminder that the Annual General Meeting for Sturt Cricket Club will be held on Wednesday 6thSeptember, commencing 7.30 pm, upstairs at the Earl of Leister Hotel (85 Leicester St, Parkside).
There are currently some vacancies on the committee, so if you are interested in nominating, either reply to the club email (sturtdcc@chariot.net.au ), contact club secretary Steve Parker on 0418400905, or come along and put your hand up on the night. We are conscious of the importance of periodically refreshing committee membership, so if you would like to contribute to the club cause, we’re keen to hear from you.
The club is also seeking a Bar Manager for the Price Memorial clubrooms during the cricket season. Remuneration would be included and the hours can be negotiated. Again, if you or anyone you know might be interested, feel free to respond on email or contact Steve directly.
The cricket season is not far away and we’re looking forward to a successful year, with the new senior coaching group already setting some high standards. We also have in place a group of high quality coaches for the women and junior squads and we look forward to following their positive influences on the playing talent at the club.
